Making the PowerPoint
When making the PowerPoint presentation, please keep these guidelines in mind:
The bottom left corner will be where the placement of your camera is on every slide. Please keep this in mind when making text, putting in images, etc.
Include a title slide.
If you have slides where you would like it to only be your camera...
Go to the empty slides that you left as placeholders.
In PowerPoint, go to the record tab.
Click on the Cameo dropdown, and then click THIS SLIDE.
Double-click on the inserted camera circle. Change it to the FIRST RECTANGLE IMAGE.
Click on the inserted camera field.
Expand it to fill up the entire slide screen.
How to Record on PowerPoint
Press the record button in the top right.
In this screen, you can now preview anything that will be recorded. You can also add a script if you’d like.
Make sure that your camera & microphone are ON.
When you are ready, select the red record button at the top.
IF YOU ARE MAKING A VIDEO THAT WILL BE EDITED BY US, REMEMBER TO:
Leave 10 seconds of silence after hitting record before beginning your presentation.
Leave 10 seconds of silence before stopping the recording.
Clicking on the slides will take you to the next slide (just like a normal PPT).
You may use the pens at the bottom, etc if you would like to.
Saving Your Recording
It will say “End of Slideshow. Click here to Export your Video.”
Click on the black screen.
Name the file accordingly.
Click Browse and save it to the proper location.
